Living in the World
Ever since I moved to my own little paradise in the countryside in Alghero, Sardinia last October, my dream of having a yoga space to share peace, silence, wisdom and well-being for others has come true. I started out with a few private students as I slowly adjusted myself to the space, and then adjusted to having others share that space with me. I could not stress enough how important it was to show up with the right intention in order to keep the positive energy flowing for everyone, and so the intention was fulfilled and my destiny became the universe's plan to help awaken other souls. I am so grateful to have been entrusted with this God-given "job" that each moment I teach is sacred and each person that shows up in my sacred space is treated with as much love and respect as possible. So far it's been a blessed beginning to a space that I hope will continue to bring peace to those who enter it.
So now back to reality as we know it, the world of duality, where such peace and well-being is not always present and we are most likely to encounter lower energies instead. Yes, every now and then I do venture out into the jungle amongst those who are still living in what is known as Kali Yuga or the age of vice, and I have encounters with paper tigers - those terrifyingly vicious wild animals that can destroy you if you are afraid of them. But once we leave Kali Yuga we see that these vicious animals are really not to be feared, for they are made of paper... and what is fear but False Evidence Appearing Real anyway. So remove fear and your vision changes. Welcome to the new world.

So that said, there I was in the jungle with this paper tiger and all their unhealed personal issues projected onto me via thought waves. I felt much compassion for this person seeing how much they were suffering and maintained a constant flow of positve thoughts going their way. However, at one point I innocently said something that inspired a verbal attack from the paper tiger to which I immediately created a light shield around me. (Yep, that is what Lightworkers do - sounds sci-fi doesn't it ?) Creating a light shield around you is kind of like avoiding a poison arrow heading your way- it just goes back to where it came from.

Coming home to my piece of paradise I breathed out a sigh of relief and thanked my lucky stars for having found the yoga path. I immediately did an energy clean on myself and chanted Ek Ong Kar Sat Guru Prasad, a wonderful Kundalini Mantra that turns around negative energy back into positive energy.
Finding yoga is a blessing. Being able to not take anything personally and not absorb other people's wounds, is a blessing. Knowing that we are beautiful lights wanting to shine with open hearts, kind words and unlimited love, is the way HOME. That is my wish for everyone. And may suffering end for everyone. Amen, Sat nam and Namastè. May you find your way home too.
