Vanessa Long Wife of Bishop Eddie Long Files for Divorce...Then Retracts???

A few hours after issuing a statement about her plans to divorce husband Bishop Eddie Long, Vanessa Long has withdrawn her petition to split from the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church preacher.
Vanessa released a follow-up announcement Friday afternoon explaining that she and her husband have agreed to "find healing," CBS Atlanta reports.
"I love my husband. I believe in him and admire his strength, and courage. My filing followed years of attacks in the media that frustrated and overwhelmed me," she said.


PREVIOUSLY:
The wife of Bishop Eddie Long has decided to file for divorce, according to a statement released by her attorneys on Friday.
According to the statement, Vanessa Long, states that "after a great deal of deliberation and prayer, I have decided to terminate my marriage to Bishop Eddie L. Long. Accordingly, I authorized my attorneys to file for divorce on December 1, 2011."
She went on to state that she hopes  the matter can be resolved quickly.
The statement says she will not try the case in the media and intends to make "no further comments concerning the matter."
Eddie and Vanessa long have been married for 21 years and have two children together. 
In June, Bishop Long’s church, New Birth Missionary Baptist, denied rumors that his wife was moving out. The previous month, Long reached a settlement with four men who accused him of sexual abuse. They said Long, their former preacher, coerced them into sexual acts with gifts and money.Those details are here!
