She is trying her best to promote her new book but try as she might Kris Jenner simply can’t steer the conversation away from her daughter’s marriage breakdown.
Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner was faced with some tough questions during a TV interview and was left speechless when she was questioned about her daughter meeting up with her ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush.
Kris, 55, was being interviewed by Wendy Williams when the chat show host brought up the meeting between Kim and Reggie that was said to have occurred before the reality star filed for divorce on Monday.

The mother-of-six gave an obscure answer when questioned about the meeting but said: ‘I don’t think that’s true.’ Wendy pushed her form more information and asked why there would be reports to say the former couple dined at a sushi restaurant called Bar Masa in New York.

The chat show host then put it to Kris that she might be hoping Kim and Reggie will get back together.
Kris was clearly put out by the comment and replied: ‘No I don’t hope she gets (back with Reggie), I don’t think she’s ready to be with anybody after all of this I think she needs to take a minute and get her heart in order.’Kim and Reggie began dating in 2007 after being introduced at the ESPY Awards, and after breaking up getting back together again the couple finally called it quits in March 2010.
In December that year she spotted Kris at a basketball game and began their whirlwind romance.
The basketball player proposed in May this year and the couple tied the knot in August after being together less than a year.
It was reported that when Reggie learned about Kim’s plans to wed Kris he is said to have bombarded her with texts and phone calls to try and win her back.

When asked if she ever thought that Kris Humphries was really right for her daughter she didn’t answer the question but said: ‘I don’t second guess my kids choices I met and married Bruce Jenner in 5 months and I‘m here 21 years later.’

Kris did concede that Kim and Kris did receive money from the magazine photography deals and their salaries for the wedding reality show special but stated that the money was put towards the wedding and no profit was made.
She even suggested that her daughter put her own money towards the wedding too to cover the costs. In the uncomfortable and awkward interview Wendy asked Kris why she didn’t cancel Kim’s schedule following the split being her daughter’s manager.

In another interview today, Kris said that her daughter was 'in a lot of pain' over the split with Kris.
'(She's) is in a lot of pain and having a hard time with her marriage,' she said, talking to AOL.com.

She insisted that her book being released at the time of her daughter's marriage dissolution rather made it 'a very awkward time', rather than a planned occurrence.
'It certainly wasn't planned,' said Jenner. 'And for all those naysayers out there that, you know, kind of comment and judge me on being out here trying to do my best, it's just a shame that people don't, um, think the best.'
She said people who have been branding Kim's marriage as fake don't really know the facts behind the story.
