Is it intuition or fear?

http://howtoopenchakras.com/third-eye-chakra
Learning how to meditate will bring this question up for two main reasons. The first being that the third eye which is in the middle of the forehead but obviously invisible, connects to the Universal Mind where intuition gathers its information and then works it out with the rational mind.

The other reason is because during meditation practice the mind goes through a cleaning process, first bringing whatever thoughts happen to be in the mind to the forefront and then through practice and mastery, observing those thoughts and transforming them. It is impossible to have no thoughts, it is only possible to silence the mind to a still point whereupon the mind enters into a no-mind space.

I often talk about listening to one's intuition and finding that inner guide and inner master to show us the way. However, I know it's easier said than done and requires guidance and practice.

To begin with, when one enters into a meditative space, the mind exits time and space as we know it and enters into an infinite space where we can explore everything from pure divinity to demi-gods and people who have passed on to the other side. It's not always easy to discern what we are intuiting which is why becoming a master observer or witness is really the first step.

Seeing that we are all made of energy and energy is a frequency that picks up other similar vibrations, we can logically assume that what we will see in our mind's eye will reflect our own personal vibration. Therefore, if there is fear, then the fear is in us and through the practice of meditation it has the possibility of being cleared and healed with a higher vibration, such as the divine vibration.

But people like shortcuts so they tend to believe anything they see in their mind's eye because they think that the spiritual world is only made of angels and goodness. That's where we invite the Hindu goddess of illusion, Maya, to play with us. She will show us what we wish to see but it may not be based in Divine Truth. In order to connect with pure Divine Truth, it is important to maintain that as your one and only intention. Otherwise, you will attract anything that resembles the lower vibrations that are in you even if you think they are spiritual.

For example, if I am meditating and I intuit something terrible, my mind will rationalize it with its intellectual capacity and pre-recorded information. So is it intuition or is it fear? It could be one and it could be both. Becoming adept at interpreting intuition first requires an understanding of the human psychological mind and of the Universal Mind. When you understand both, you can then try to explore your own mind to find out what you believe and what you wish to explore. Then your mind will attract more of that from the Universal Mind.

We live in a dual world here on planet Earth so we will intuit both positive and negative information. You can start to explore your intuition by meditating on the flame of a candle which helps focus your attention on the third eye. I wouldn't recommend more than 20 minutes a day because then the third eye chakra can have reverse effects (look up 6th chakra for information on the effects of  too open or too closed). When the mind starts to slow down you know you have begun meditating. If you start to get sleepy, your brain waves have begun to slow down (generelly because it thinks you want to sleep since you are in a state of relaxation. But meditation is not sleeping! It's active relaxation). If you feel you are getting hypnotized you have probably entered the Universal Mind and I recommend you stop if you aren't adept at interpreting the spiritual realm. Just imagine the front door of your house. Would you leave it open for just anybody? It's the same thing until you learn to master the Ajna chakra. Becoming a "master mind" means you do not let anything condition you unconsciously. You have complete awareness and free-will to observe what is entering through your third eye.

The ultimate stage of intuition is when you learn to use your highly developed intuition to merge with the Divine (called Samadhi in yoga practices) and use it to help others here in the world of duality. When you reach the stage of Samadhi you have gone beyond duality, beyond the space where spirits wander without a body and you have reached the house of what we call God where there is only Love and Light.

Most Lightworkers will give you this piece of advice. If you feel positive and peaceful, you have entered a divine space. If you feel anxious and scared, you have not. Trust your intuition ;-)

Namastè.
