Arriving at Gratitude

There is lots of old karma clearing going on right now in the ethers! If you pay attention at what's going on in your mind and thoughts you might be able to see the karma that is requesting to be released now.

For me it's all about my ex's. That's right all my ex-boyfriends, lovers and husband (just one was enough :-)

How does this happen? How do we get to release old karma with gratitude and love so that we can continue to evolve without having to revisit old wounds again? It's a matter of timing I guess. We work on ourselves every day meditating, doing yoga, reading spiritual books, blogs and teachings, we do healings and rituals all towards the hope that we will eventually be freed from our past karma so that we can begin to enjoy new, cleaner karma in our lives.

Uttana Shishosana (Extended Puppy Pose)

So the moment has arrived for me to say thank you to all those who have loved me. I do include my friends, many of which I don't see anymore due to life circumstances. Many of the people I am thanking will probably never read this blog but that is not really important. What's important is arriving at gratitude. There is no more need to be forgiven or to ask for forgiveness. There is no more need to ask for an explanation or question each other's motives. You just want to say, "thank you, you have been on my path in this lifetime and I have grown thanks to your presence in my life."

Just to be clear I have loved several men and the more I loved them the more I realized how spiritual I really was deep down, for what is spirituality but the desire to know love, to know its true essence and to enjoy it as much as  possible. I used to always be in love and I have many passions in life but my greatest love of all has been the ability to live without fear thanks to my spiritual studies. The more I understood spirituality the more I realized why I had loved so many people. I have since realized that the depth and the width and the ability to open our hearts to others is equivalent to our ability to love the Divine. They are one and the same.

So thank you guys! I really mean it. I hold no grudges and I have no regrets. All of you who have crossed my path have been loved by me sincerely and with an honest heart. And if we parted ways it's because we were only meant to share the same path for the amount of time we were on it together. My blessings to you all for much happiness and fulfillment in your lives!

So gratitude is not just being thankful for something or someone. It is a full on transformative energy that releases lower energies and heals heals heals and it is necessary because during the span of our lifetime we will say goodbye to many people in many ways. In my high school yearbook I wrote, "saying goodbye" under Pet Peeves. Little did I know I would be working that pet peeve repeatedly!

I can go on thanking so many more people but it might start to sound like an Oscar speech (which is really about glory when you think about it.)

When you've cleared karma you will know it because you will only see the love that existed - for only love is real. You will see the experience for what it was and you will understand its place in your life. Then you will be thankful, so thankful to all who have agreed to play a part in your play.

One of my favourite yoga poses for releasing and thanking is Uttana Shishosana also known as Extended Puppy Stretch (photo above). There are many health benefits to using this pose but the most powerful healing it provides is that of releasing the ego.mind and allowing humility to enter the heart. Follow this link to see how it is done and this link to learn more about its benefits.

Keep meditating, keep releasing and keep the faith!

Namastè.
