Miss Mariah Makes an Epic Announcement?

Last night on Twitter Mariah Carey teased her lambs with the announcement that she had an epic surprise in store for them.

So when Epic Records exec LA Reid chimed in about MiMi's choice of words being 'epic' it wasn't hard to figure out her surprise probably has something to do with a new record deal..

Well I see L.A Reid is bringing dead weight along with him at Epic..HUH?

BET BLACK GIRLS ROCK! Inside The Celeb Arrivals & Taping!

Miss Natasha and her crew over at The YBF got some exclusives for the taping of BET Black Girls Rock and I am sharing it with you my chroniclers!
Founded by celebrity DJ and Philanthropist, Beverly Bond, BLACK GIRLS ROCK!™ is dedicated to promoting positive images of women of color in mass media. The fabulous and supportive occasion started many years ago, but this is only the second year it will be televised on BET.

On stage, host Tracee Ellis Ross went full out sequins with gold blouse and matching cropped skinny pants.

Of course, she can pull it off though. But beforehand on the red carpet, she kept it simple in an all-white long gown:

And fellow host Regina King rocked her red look:

Nice.

LaLa, who was there to introduce honoree Taraji P. Henson, also kept it white on the red carpet in this interesting two-sided long lace gown with a solid back and slit.

And she kicked it with Mary Mary who looked cute on the carpet themselves.

Melanie Fiona rocked a multicolored skirt and matching belted top from Proenza Schouler for the occasion.

And rocked out on stage looking amazing in hot black shorts and a long dress by Peter Piloto over it. Topped off with Givenchy shoes.

Model Alek Wek was there to introduce honorees from The Rebecca Project for Human Rights, co-founders Imani Walker and Malika Saada Saa.

Mary J. Blige performed and rocked her tuxedo blazer and black pants look.

She's really getting back to vintage Mary days I see.

Very pregnant Egypt and her hubby hit the carpet.

Honoree Tatyana Ali looked gorgeous in a multi-colored sparkling dress as she posed with BET head honcho Debra Lee.

Oh, hey Lil Mama.

Dancing queen Laurie Ann Gibson hit the carpet and came out to support.

Honoree Taraji P. Henson looked hot in her black, grey, and white snakeskin dress. She paired it with red heels and her snakeskin clutch.

Tichina Arnold and Taraji P. Henson kicked it in the audience.

Newcomer Elle Varner hit the stage to perform. But since this is one of her first live shows, she had a mishap and fell flat out on stage during the performance. So her set had to be re-taped.

BET Exec. Stephen Hill was there in his pink sneakers.

Jilly rocked her curls and an all black look for the the occasion before hitting the stage to perform "Hate On Me" and some spoken word.

OK Jeanette Jenkins! The fitness trainer worked her killer bod in a mini silver sparkling dress for the red carpet.

Estelle hit the stage to perform "Thank You" in a black sequins floor length evening gown.

But before taking the stage she rocked a burnt orange pleated bodice evening gown which was perfect for fall.

Cheryl "Salt" James was there looking fab.

Black Girls Rock! creator DJ Beverly Bond chilled in the audience with her hubby. And hit the carpet looking fab in a black jacquard dress.

Erykah Badu hit the stage in an outfit only she would rock. She opened with "Appletree" with her appropriately fitting all-female band:

And Taraji & Erykah kicked it with the legendary Angela Davis, who was also an honoree.

Laurel J. Richie and Shirley Ceaser were also honorees. The show airs November 6th on BET at 8pm.

OOH DEMI PLEASE EAT!...PLUS SHE’S MOVING ON!

At the start of the month it was claimed her weight had plummeted to around seven stone after allegations emerged that her husband Ashton Kutcher had been unfaithful with a 22-year-old blonde.

And it appears Demi Moore has lost even more weight in recent weeks, with the actress cutting a shockingly skinny figure at the premiere of her new movie Margin Call.

The 48-year-old star looked shockingly thin at the New York event, which will no doubt raise further concerns about how she is coping.
Demi was dressed in a demure red dress which sat just below her knee but while it looked like it should have hugged her figure, it hung loosely, emphasising her tiny frame.

The modest V-neckline simply highlighted her collarbones and the capped sleeves showed how Demi has barely any body fat on her sinewy arms.
While Demi might have put on a brave face smiling on the red carpet, and was still wearing her wedding ring, the effect of recent events was plain for anybody to see.

Earlier this month Grazia magazine said Demi's weight was 'hovering around the seven stone mark' which given her five foot five height would make her significantly underweight.
And since then it appears that Demi has shed even further pounds, ones she simply cannot afford to lose.

Demi joined her Margin Call co-stars on the red carpet and put her problems to one side as she chatted with Kevin Spacey and Paul Bettany.

News of Ashton's alleged affair with 22-year-old Sara Leal broke at the end of September and since then Demi's appearance has deteriorated.

Ashton is accused of bedding the Texan beauty after a hot tub party at a hotel, on the weekend of his sixth wedding anniversary to Demi.

Divorce rumors continue to swirl after a moving van was spotted in front of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's home in Los Angeles.
A moving truck was spotted outside the Los Angeles home of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, furthering rumors that the couple of six years is headed toward a break up.
A large Wetzel & Sons moving truck was spotted leaving their home Thursday afternoon but the company refused to comment, Us Weekly reported Friday.

"We don't give out any information on our clients," a spokesperson told the gossip magazine.

Reports have been flying since late September that the Hollywood power couple was splitting due to Kutcher's alleged one-night-stand with 22-year-old, Sara Leal, on the day of Kutcher's sixth wedding anniversary with Moore.
Leal, an administrative assistant originally from Texas, described in detail a naked hot tub huddle she shared with Kutcher that later led to a hook-up with the "Two and a Half Men" star in the early hours of September 24.

Both Moore, 48, and Kutcher, 33, have refused to comment on the alleged incident.
But last weekend they were spotted camping together in the outdoors of Southern California, with their Kabbalah instructor on hand, to observe the Jewish day of atonement, Yom Kippur.

THE OBAMA PUMPKIN PATCHING!

While on a three-day bus tour through North Carolina and Virginia, The President and First Lady stopped off to pick up a few pumpkins from a roadside farmer in Hampton, VA.

During a 3-day bus tour through North Carolina and Virginia, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by the Joint Base Langley-Eustis in VA.

As The President gazed lovingly at Michelle, The FLOTUS spoke about a new private sector commitment to hire 25,000 veterans and military spouses by the end of 2013.

And when he made his way to the podium and embraced his wife, The President said,

'I hate following Michelle. She's so good. See for you men out there who are not yet married, let me explain. The whole goal is to marry up - to try to improve your gene pool!

And while commenting on Michelle's work with military families, he said, "..she does all this and she looks cute."

Awww! Gotta love a man who recognizes how hard it is to be an all-around fab chick.
Then the couple stopped off at a roadside market in Hampton, Virginia to pick pumpkins or the fall.

By the way, the white pumpkin was reportedly 70 lbs, and The First Lady lifted it by herself!

Will First Lady Michelle use them to decorate her garden...or perhaps make some pumpkin pies. I'm sure First Granny Marian could put her foot in some pumpkin pie....

Have you seen the word around the blogs that "Lloyd Banks is currently unsigned"? Notice how 50 & Banks are almost never at the same events anymore, and haven't been for quite a few years? Banks' last album was brilliant, was released on the same day as Kanye's "Dark Fantasy" and Nicki's "Pink Friday" yet didn't do 1/3 of the numbers that his first album did. Sure, you can blame 'the industry not being what it was,' but that's only partly true. If it were fully true, why would Kanye's and Nicki's albums be gold and platinum, but Banks' album go double-wood?

Here's the short answer: 50 cut off his 'old friend's' funding. 50 knows that, of the two 'soldiers' in the Unit, Banks is clearly the superior of the two, and could have a long and somewhat successful career if he ever got out of his 'soldier' mentality. But from what I've been told, Banks started to see who 50 really was when his father died - 50 couldn't even be bothered to show up to the funeral, then had the nerve to bitch and complain that Banks wasn't doing the necessary promotion needed for the second album. Later on, 50 apologized for not being there for Banks when he needed him, but that was a case of 'too little too late.' 50's philosophy was 'starve him to death,' and there was some legitimacy to that philosophy [because Banks has a habit of spending his money on drugs and video hoes, which is why he almost got jammed up with a video hoe a few months back - and Banks can be more than a little bit of an arrogant jerk to people he views as 'beneath him'], but the overall impression in the industry about 50 doing that is that he has no loyalty to anyone. Because if he can do that to one of his oldest friends, he can do that to anybody. The only reason he doesn't do it to Tony Yayo [who is an absolute loser, can't rap worth a shit] is because Yayo, as someone else on here mentioned, has a lot, and I do mean a lot, of dirt on 50. Even that whole 'energy drink' shit that 50 is doing is nothing more than face-washing for all the dirt he's done. But those in the industry really see through it.

Don’t you think it's odd that there's all this money invested in his film company, but not a single film has received major distribution, and the one film that received some level of publicity is plagued by troubles up, down, and sideways? Do you think it's odd that the man has released quite a few singles (two, by my count) from his purported album, but can't find any radio traction? Do you think it's odd that, knowing that when Banks did the same thing with "Beamer, Benz or Bentley" independently - that is, when he had no label deal with EMI - he sold 500k copies of the single, but the minute Banks lined himself back up with 50's cause for the album, he immediately got the air let out of his tires? 

Do you think it's odd that 50 Cent used to never do the nightclub circuit for promotion after he got "put on," but now that's all he seems to be doing for something that's supposedly as "noble" of a cause as his "heal the world, make it a better place" energy drink?

The Disappearing of NeNe Leakes!

As previously reported, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes joined Housewives from the other cities for the "Real Housewives Live Tour" last weekend. And she debuted a new body as they stopped in Atlanta.

The Tour features "Housewives" from different cities popping up in different cities to kick it with their fans who paid to chit chat with them about their most controversial moments.

So last weekend, the ladies walked the red carpet at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, and NeNe shocked some folks with her extra thin frame.

She's no stranger to some nip & tuck action on her nose, face, and body. But she's indeed changed up her bod even more:

Fellow "Housewives" Alex McCord (NY), Melissa Gorga (one of my NJ faves), and Marysol Patton (MIA) were there as well. Oddly enough, we could have sworn Marysol and te whole Miami cast got the axe. As well as Alex and half the NY cast. Guess that doesn't stop the money pimpin'.

Waka Flocka Denied Entry Into Canada, Forced To Cancel Concert

Waka Flocka was forced to cancel a concert in Toronto, Canada after he was denied entry into the country, according to a report by RumorFix.com.

No official reason has been given for the “Round of Applause” rapper's denial.
However at least two rappers have been turned away attempting to enter our northern border to do shows.

In April, rapper, Game, was denied access by customs agents because of his record and reported via his Twitter account that he had to spend two weeks in detainment.

The same month, Canadian authorities threatened to deny Lil Wayne entry based on his criminal record and the rapper was forced to cancel two Canadian stops on his I Am Music II tour.
Waka reportedly spent the night in Detroit, Michigan instead and is scheduled to perform at Club Underground in Tamp, Florida on Saturday (October 21).

CHRIS ROCK SAYS COMEDIANS WEARING DRESSES, NOT JUST A BLACK THING

Comedian and actor Chris Rock gets “reel” in the latest issue of Vibe magazine. The Hollywood themed issue covers a variety of topics and in the interview with Rock they asked about the trend of Black comedians having to wear dresses.

“I mean, hey, lots of comedians dress up like women, not just Black. It’s one of the oldest tricks in the book. Men in drag…There was Mrs. Doubtfire. [Adam] Sandler’s next movies is Jack and Jill. He plays his brother and sister. [The Black community] doesn’t have that many movies, so if there’s only four Black movies in a year and two of them star Black men in dresses, I could see how that would upset some people. But that’s a job for some people. Tyler Perry is great in a dress, but I don’t want to see Denzel or Will Smith in a dress. And I don’t think we’re in any danger of seeing that.”

Jackson Family Members We're Back in the U.S.A.

The Jackson family has officially returned to America ... impressive, considering their travel agents CANCELLED their return tickets from the U.K. at the last minute because they hadn't been paid.
TMZ has confirmed ... Tito Jackson's sons, TJ and Taryll, who performed at the MJ Tribute show with their group 3T ... returned to the U.S. yesterday after a bitter stand-off with their travel agents.
We broke the story ... Entertainment Travel claims they warned the company behind the MJ Tribute show about a $200k debt ... and eventually cancelled the flights claiming they still haven't been paid. 

Sources close to the Jacksons tell TMZ ... the family found another agency ... who agreed to take on their business and booked them on new flights home. It's unclear who agreed to foot the bill for the new tix.
As we previously reported, Entertainment Travel has vowed to sue the crap out of Global Live if they don't pay up soon.

A rep for Global Live had told us the company intends to pay up ... noting, "all bills are being reconciled."

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT! Raheem Devaughn & Dr. Cornel West JAILED For Supporting OccupyDC

Singer Raheem Devaughn and Dr. Cornel West were arrested yesterday for participating in an OccupyDC protest on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court. Shortly after attending the dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. Dr. Cornel West was arrested along with singer Raheem Devaughn and over a dozen OccupyDC protesters on the steps of the Supreme Court around 6pm, a rep for Raheem says
The demonstration was one of many taking place around the world to protest against corporate influence in politics and the effects on the economy.

As the movement gains traction, protests in New York have drawn celebs like Kanye West and Russell Simmons into the fold.

Shortly after his arrest, Raheem's staff posted this message on Twitter,

Raheem is in jail for protesting along side Dr. Cornel West downtown. We expect him to get out soon. -Dave (staff)

Meanwhile, sources close to Dr. West posted a similar message on his Twitter saying,

Thanks ALL for your concern. Dr. West is ok. He'll share his thoughts from today very soon. Stay tuned! #OccupyDC -- Bro. @brandonAlucas

The arrested individuals were charged with trespassing and are expected to be released soon. We will keep you posted.

Ice-T and his wife Nicole 'Coco' Austin are more than just a power couple, they're now published authors.
The Ts recently revealed to the New York Daily News that they both published novels with the help of assigned authors who brought their visions" to life.
Ice's book is titled "Kings of Vice"and follows an ex-con's journey back onto the street while Coco's book, Coco's "Angel" is an erotic mystery.

Speaking on her book with the NYDN, Coco says that she relayed her dreams to author Laura Hayden who tells the story of a woman with the supernatural ability to channel men's desires and uses it to solve mysteries.

"Mine came to me in a dream," Coco says of her plan for the book. "I always have crazy dreams. I wake up and tell my husband these amazing stories, but sometimes I just don't want to wake up.
"When you can be that perfect woman for a man, you can get inside his head and solve anything.For Ice, I am that perfect woman. I've turned into what he wants."

Ice also explained how he got his concept for "Kings Of Vice" telling The New York Daily News, the idea largely came after seeing the 1979 film "Warriors"where the most powerful gang leader in New York is shot after calling for all gangs to unite.

"I wrote in a way that Crush's [the main character's ]story can go on," he says. "I've already started on the second one."….YAWN!!!
