Burglary Charges Dropped Against Bishop Eddie Long Accuser

Eddie Long Drops Burglary Charges

Anthony Boyd, one of the men who accused mega-church pastor Bishop Eddie L. Long of sexual coercion, has escaped burglary charges after Long refused to testify.
Boyd, one of four men who accused the bishop of seducing them into sex with lavish gifts as teens, was charged in 2010 with breaking into Long's office and stealing over $100,000 worth of the pastor's belongings.

Now, the Dekalb County District Attorney in Georgia has dropped all charged because of Long's refusal to go forward with the proceedings. Long requested in a letter to the District Attorney that all charges be dropped.

“While I understand the there may be evidence to support a prosecution, I believe in forgiveness and the opportunity for second chances,” Long wrote, according to WSB-TV.
Boyd still proclaims his innocence. “I had nothing to do with it,” he said of the burglary.


OH LAWDY THEY'RE BACK: YES THOSE GURLS: "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" Season 4

Season 4 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is set the hit on November 6 and the ladies have taken the drama to level 10 with a season that explores sex toys, infidelity, cheating spouses and a few good-drink tosses at a dead-beat dad. 

Time to set your DVRs because the cat-fighting divas of "RHOA" return to TV on Sunday, November 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

And if you think "BBW" brought the drama last season, wait until you check out the preview for "RHOA" season 4. 

Unlike the NY franchise, the cast of "RHOA" remains the same, but new business prospects, frenemies (hey Marlo Hampton!) and the return of dead beat dads (side-eye at Sheree throwing a drink at ex-husband Bob Whitfield) are sure to keep viewers tuned in.

According to a press release from Bravo, this season will focus on all this ish: Kandi, Phaedra and Cynthia starting new businesses (sex toys, funeral homes and a modeling school), NeNe's failing marriage to Greg (and perhaps a new boyfriend) and Kim beginning a new life with Kroy and their baby (before her own show kicks off). 

And if the preview is any indication, NeNe fights with both Marlo AND Sheree this season.  And we know Tami/Meeka/Evelyn have nothing on NeNe and Sheree!

Here's what's happening with the cast:

·        NeNe Leakes –  This season, NeNe and Gregg have officially separated. Though Gregg no longer lives with NeNe and the boys, they have a complex relationship. NeNe struggles with her decision on whether or not to sign the divorce papers and truly move on from their 15-year relationship. Since her experience on Celebrity Apprentice, NeNe has realized she has a knack for business and uses one of her Trump connections to pursue an entrepreneurial endeavor.

·         Kim Zolciak –As her psychic predicted, Kim’s life has changed dramatically for the better. Kroy adores Kim, her daughters and is a loving father to baby KJ. Though they have established a new life together, Kroy has to return to the NFL, leaving Kim to get their new house in order and tend to three children. To add to her juggling act, Kim is pursuing a country music career without the help of Kandi.

·         Sheree Whitfield –Sheree has recently moved out of her home and is building a fabulous new house for her family in the same upscale neighborhood. Frustrated with her ex-husband for not paying the 4 years of child support he owes, Sheree takes action against him with legal help from her friend and fellow Housewife, lawyer Phaedra Parks.

·         Kandi Burruss – After a year spent recording and touring to support her solo album, Kandi has shifted her focus to a new endeavor: an intimate luxury line. She's also switching gears with music and focusing on writing country hits for a popular artist.. While she has yet to find Mr. Right, Kandi is spending more time than ever with Mama Joyce. Ever the mediator, she remains close with the other Housewives.

·         Phaedra Parks – With baby Ayden growing up so quickly, Phaedra is realizing her parenting style is different than expected. Once a firm believer in “spanking” a child, she has become a doting mom who tends to annoy Apollo by babying their son. Phaedra continues to work hard at the law firm and has begun her next business venture: a family-run funeral home. Her only hurdle before becoming a certified mortician: convincing Apollo of the benefits of this new undertaking.

·         Cynthia Bailey – At 44 years old, Cynthia is still a working model and is using her decades of experience to help the next generation. By opening The Bailey Agency School of Fashion, Cynthia seeks to teach Atlanta’s most promising girls about the industry. Her marriage to Peter is barely one-year along, but the shadow of the marriage-certificate wedding debacle still hangs over the Bailey-Thomas household. Cynthia’s sister Malorie and Peter still haven’t addressed her attempted wedding sabotage and Cynthia finds herself in an uncomfortable position between her husband and her sister.

Celebs The "Great Futures Start Here" Launch In DC

Ashanti, LeBron James and Denzel Washington appeared at The National Press Club in Washington, DC for the "Great Futures Start Here" Campaign Launch. All are part of the new Boys & Girls Club campaigns shot recently (and also benefited from the programs themselves). So they're all about giving back.

Ashanti rocked the dark peony "Jacket Dress" from Black Halo. Very cute.

The campaign is a program launched by The Boys & Girls Club Of America. Ashanti, Denzel and LeBron are ambassadors for the organization.

The three celebs each took turns on the mic offering words of encouragement to the kids.

Afterwards, they posed for pics. Great to see celebs reaching out to the kiddies.

How Cheap of you: B.o.B. Put On Blast For Not Pay Thousand Dollar Bar Tab

B.o.B. is being accused of skipping out on a four-figure bar bill. The “Cornell Daily Sun” says B.o.B. left the Level B bar in Ithaca, New York on Saturday night without paying for his drinks. B.o.B. and about 12 other people reportedly ran up a bill that included three 300-dollar bottles of Grey Goose Vodka, and a 160 dollar gratuity. However, when it came time to pay, the rapper and his entourage were nowhere to be found. TJ Chapman, who works for B.o.B., says they assumed that every bottle of alcohol their waiter offered them was on the house.

Chapman says the waiter confronted them outside of the bar, but apologized for the mix-up and said not to worry about paying. The owner of Level B, Brad Weiss, says at no point were they expecting B.o.B. and his people to drink for free. Weiss adds that the unpaid bill is “not a big deal” financially, and they aren’t going to pursue legal action.

IDIOT! Sean Kingston Jet Ski Accident Caused By Inattention, Inexperience

Sean Kingston's near-fatal jet ski accident could have been avoided if he had bothered to take a boating safety class, or at least read the manual... according to a newly released police report obtained by TMZ.
Investigators say Kingston's "inexperience" and "inattention" were solely to blame. The cops specifically called him out for not understanding basic boating safety procedures. They believe Kingston stupidly released the throttle while turning the steering wheel at the same time, causing him to lose control over the watercraft.

As we reported in May, the "Beautiful Girls" singer was critically injured when he crashed his brand new jet ski into a bridge in Miami Beach.
The three-month police investigation reveals just how close Kingston was to dying. According to the report, Kingston crashed into the bridge with such force, his head, arms and upper chest, left an imprint in on the cement (see photo below).

Kingston was cited for "careless operation in an accident" and fined a whopping $180.

OH NO SAY IT AIN’T SO!! R.E.M. Breaks Up After 31 Years of Great Music

Three decades of music-making have come to an end for Athens, Georgia heroes R.E.M., as the band announced its breakup on the official R.E.M. website Wednesday.

"To our Fans and Friends: As R.E.M., and as lifelong friends and co-conspirators, we have decided to call it a day as a band. We walk away with a great sense of gratitude, of finality, and of astonishment at all we have accomplished," the statement reads. "To anyone who ever felt touched by our music, our deepest thanks for listening.
The band released its first full-length album, Murmur, in 1983. In March 2011, the band released its 15th and final studio album Collapse Into Now, which was accompanied by music videos for each and every song on the album. Bassist Mike Mills wrote that Collapse Into Now felt like the band's natural conclusion, explaining, "We realized that these songs seemed to draw a natural line under the last 31 years of our working together."

Singer Michael Stipe concluded, "I hope our fans realize this wasn't an easy decision; but all things must end, and we wanted to do it right, to do it our way."
We're holding optimistic for a reunion tour a few years down the line. Stipe's often-incomprehensible vocal burble just won't sound the same without his buddies.

Bow Wow is setting the record straight to his fans and detractors via the use of his blog.
Mediatakeout recently posted an article claiming that they had an inside source confirming the 24-year-old actor/rapper was close to poverty, and that his Bentley was repossessed.

"I never knew why it interest people to want to know what the f**k is going on in someone else's life. Its quite funny tho. Like i sit around the studio or i can be filming a movie and ill get a call like 'Yo Shad, they said that you dead and you fell you jumped off your condo balcony,'" Bow Wow wrote.

Since coming into adulthood, things have been different for Shad Moss who has been dealing with fame since he was a youngster. He is now a father and is on a mission to prove he is a viable artist, but his new LP due Dec. 6, Underrated is taking a backseat to other news.

Gwyneth Paltrow Disappoints Beyoncé

Looks like Beyoncé and Gwyneth Paltrow friendship may be a little rocky. During London Fashion Week, Beyoncé launched her House of Deréon Collection. Her best friend, or at least that what the charms they both wear say, was scheduled to come through and show Beyoncé some love, but was expected to be late. Beyoncé held up the start of the show by 45 minutes waiting for Gwyneth. And she didn’t even show up!

According to a source, “Beyoncé halted the whole thing because she thought Gwyneth was about to arrive. She kept calling her but she didn’t show. People couldn’t wait any longer and they had to get on with it. Beyoncé wasn’t angry. She was just disappointed.” No one knows yet why Gwyneth was late, but it better be good.

While fans may be used to Usher burning up with charts, the R&B veteran is the latest hitmaker feeling the heat – heading from the charts to the court over a plagiarism claim. Joining Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Leona Lewis, the ‘My Way’ maestro will soon be making his way to defend his case after songwriter Ernest Lee Straughter convinced a judge that Mr. Raymond’s 2004 Jermaine Dupri-produced ‘Burn’ plagiarized a work of his.

Billboard reports:
Last month, a California federal judge found there to be sufficient possibility that Usher and co-defendants who produced the song had access to Slaughter’s work, “Reasons,” created in 1998. The judge accepted a musicologist’s report that noted substantial similarity between the songs and denied a motion to dismiss the case on summary judgment.

Defendants Usher, Jermaine Dupri, and Arista Records have yet to comment. Billboard further reported, ‘leaving aside the issue of whether these songs sound alike, the big controversy at the moment in the lawsuit is whether Usher and Dupri had access to Straughter’s song.’

So if you had any doubt about whether Gayle King is a lesbian scratch that, because Gayle is being sued by a famous matchmaker who claims she hooked Gayle up with a bunch of "attractive, fit, and wealthy men," but Gayle reneged on her promise to put her on "Oprah."

Orly Hadida -- aka Orly the Matchmaker -- claims 2 years ago she made a deal with Gayle to provide her with matchmaking services. According to the lawsuit, Orly waived her $500,000 fee, and in return Gayle promised to get Orly a guest spot on "Oprah."
Orly alleges she spent hundreds of hours hooking Gayle up with 5 men -- all fabulous. Orly claims Gayle went on several dates with more than one of the men.
According to the lawsuit, back in May Orly panicked, realizing Oprah's show was coming to a quick end. So she says she sent Gayle an email, saying since she clearly wasn't going to appear on Oprah she wanted to get paid.

Gayle's rep had no comment.

The Milk Ain’t Clean: Jackie Christie’s Daughter Puts Her on BLAST

If you’ve been watching Basketball Wives LA, you’re probably familiar with Jackie Christie. During this week’s episode .Jackie was seen working overtime and a half to ensure that her mother (who had cancer) was able to witness her 50/11th marriage to her husband, Doug. Sadly, Jackie’s mother passed away this week and while I most certainly DO send my condolences, I have to say that I spent an ample amount of time side eyeing her quick tears on the show.

Allow me to explain. Although there is no way that you can dictate someone’s emotions or how they’ll deal with death should they be forced to do so, it was just something about her tears/crying scenes that seemed forced to me…like it wasn’t coming from a genuine place. While watching the show with folks on Twitter, I almost said something about it but figured I wouldn’t be disrespectful to her, especially as she’s dealing with a situation such as losing a loved one.

Which brings me to the tea….

Jackie Christie apparently has a 22 year old daughter named Ta’kari Lee (from a previous marriage) who’s blogging and saying that all the tears and happy sh*t that you see on TV aren’t real. In a blog from last month, she talks about her mother’s alleged treatment of her grandmother.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Hit a Rough Patch

Nicole Richie is fed up with the rock star life style and is demanding her husband 'Good Charlotte' rocker Joel Madden quit his band.
“ENOUGH is enough of this rock star lifestyle!” Fed up with husband Joel Madden’s hectic life as a musician, Nicole Richie ordered the Good Charlotte rocker to ditch his band – threatening to leave him and take their children if he didn’t start devoting more time to their family.
Nicole, 30, and Joel, 32, were married in a fairy-tale winter wonderland wedding last December, but the “honeymoon is definitely over” now, according to an insider.
“They’ve been having marital problems, mostly centered around Joel’s intense work commitments related to his band,” the insidercontinued. “Nicole has been complaining nonstop that Joel is like an absentee parent. When he’s not sequestered in the studio with his band mates, he’s touring the globe.
“This isn’t the life Nicole wants for her kids.”

The couple are parents to daughter Harlow, 3, and son Sparrow, 2.
Last year, The ENQUIRER reported that Nicole suffered an emotional breakdown because she worried that Joel had chosen work over family. She was also consumed by fears that he was cheating and was buckling under the stress of juggling work and kids.
Despite her past complaints, Joel and Good Charlotte embarked on a world tour that just wrapped up in August. And they still have a scheduled festival gig in Russia in October.
Finally, Nicole put her foot down. “She wants Joel to grow up and settle down,” said the insider. “She still worries that he’ll stray. Nicole is constantly texting and calling Joel throughout the day to check in with him to make sure he’s not up to no good.

When Joel announced a few weeks ago that he intended to go back into the studio to work on new material, she flipped. She tore into him and threatened to leave with the kids unless he recommitted himself to family life.
“She forced him into a corner and made him choose family over career. So he reluctantly announced to his band mates that they needed a break.”

Added the source. “Joel adores Nicole and wants to work through their problems.”

In a market awash with celebrity books, Tyra Banks found a novel way to get some attention for her new tome.
The model donned a skimpy vest for the launch of Modelland at Barnes & Noble bookstore in Union Square, New York, and her bra was clearly on display, peeking out the top of the attire.

Yet the effect was less sexy model than harried businesswoman with a missing blazer, given the subdued black trousers.
And for the second day in a row, she opted for dayglow hues - though after yesterday's unflattering jumpsuit, they were kept to a minimum.

While the 1980s have been inspiring some of today's fashion trends, many of us who remember that era had hoped that some colours would have never resurface.
But Banks is clearly not one of them and seems to be desperate to bring dayglow back as her latest outfits have shown.

But it wasn't just the cut of the outfit that did nothing for her but the bright and bold colours which clashed together as she walked to work.
The purple all-in-one had a florescent lime green belt and shoulder strap and she teamed the look with dark tan heels and a silver bag.
Dayglow colours have been popular with the model over the summer and in recent weeks.
On Monday she was in Miami to promote her new book Modelland and she wore drainpipe trousers with a bright blue vest top which, like her jumpsuit, also had dayglow green straps.
She took another trip back to the 80s last week when she arrived at the Grove shopping centre to promote the new season of Americas Next Top Model on the TV show Extra.
